When a complication is picked up in Jac's scan, she and Jonny are forced to deal with devastating news. A mistake in surgery rocks Mary-Claire's confidence.
It is the day of Jac's 20-week scan, but she is stunned to find that her baby has complications; can she and Jonny find a way to help each other through their devastating news?
Edward encourages Mary-Claire to try and get into Ric's good books, and she finds herself uncharacteristically involved with a homeless patient. But when a mistake is made in theatre, Mary-Claire loses her nerve, but finds an ally in Edward.
Arthur learns that being nominated for Doctor of the Year brings its own set of problems - particularly as he finds himself caught between three women.
