The G20 summit in St Petersburg has ended with no progress on the question of military intervention in Syria.

World leaders have ended the G20 summit in Russia with no agreement on how to respond to the crisis in Syria. The United States has been at the forefront of calls for military intervention following the alleged chemical attack on civilians by the Syrian government two weeks ago. We speak to Lord Williams, who was the UN Secretary-General's Special Adviser on the Situation in the Middle East and the UK Special Representative for the Middle East.
