Sara Edwards and Wynne Evans present highlights of Wales's International Eisteddfod as musicians, singers and dancers travel from all over the world to gather in Llangollen to take to the stage - and the town's streets.

Our cameras also travel to Beijing and Germany to meet performers as they prepare for the festival. The evening concerts feature a cast of international stars - a particular highlight will be Verdi's Requiem - and the whole week builds to a climax with the prestigious Choir of the World competition.

This year also sees the return to the festival of the famous Oberkirchen Children's Choir, who shot to international fame after their first visit exactly 60 years ago.
