Women in the Workplace Parliamentary Enquiry
Over the last six months, a cross-party parliamentary select committee has been scrutinising women鈥檚 progress in the workplace. They鈥檝e been looking at whether the current legislation, meant to tackle inequality, is really working.聽The committee heard evidence from a broad range of witnesses including leading businesswomen, Government ministers, trade unions and business organisations聽- as well as from our Woman鈥檚 Hour listeners who鈥檝e also submitted their own experiences as evidence. 聽Adrian Bailey MP, chair of the Business, Innovation and Skills Committee joins Jane to reveal the findings of the 鈥淲omen in the Workplace鈥 report and explain what action the committee is calling on the government to make.
Indian rape victims speaks out

The archive will 聽feature the collections of three female folk music enthusiast and will provide 聽the most comprehensive free 聽digital archive of English folk songs, tunes, dances and customs in the world.
