This edition of the antiques series comes from England's capital, London, with the valuations taking place at historic London Zoo. Paul Martin is joined by experts Will Axon and Thomas Plant, who compete with the animals to gain the crowd's attention as they value their antiques and collectibles. Among the items are some unusual horse regalia and medals that give a fascinating insight into some of Regent's Park's earlier residents.
Presenter Paul Martin delves into the zoo's rich archives to find out there was more to the poet Edward Lear's talents than his nonsense poetry and limericks when he uncovers some sublime early portraits of parrots, painted at the zoo many years before Lear ever dreamed of an owl and a pussycat.
And the crowd enjoy a limerick competition in homage to Edward Lear and his association with the zoo.
