Joe Crowley catches up with people who decided to renovate unloved houses. Joe revisits a Shropshire sculptor who had plans to renovate an empty warehouse.
Joe returns to Shropshire to catch up with artist and sculptor George Triggs. When Joe first met George he had just bought an empty 2,000 square feet warehouse, which had previously been used by a building storage company. George spotted its potential as both an artistic studio and living space immediately. One year on, Joe is keen to see how George has got on.
We also pay another visit to RAF Hayford to see how plans to regenerate this abandoned airbase have progressed, and we catch up with freelance empty property officer Paul Palmer as he returns to see the finished results of an ambitious social housing project in London.
