Cìsean air rathaidean ann am Portagail
Tha mì-thoileachas ann am Portagail mu mar a chaidh cìsean air rathaidean mòra a bha roimh an asgaidh.  A-rèir cuid, chan eil e cothromach toirt orra a bhith a bhith a’ pà igheadh son rathaidean seo leis nach eil na rathaidean eile mu chuairt aig ìre fhreagarrach.  Tha companaidhean a' gearain gu bheil na cìsean a' toirt droch bhuaidh air a' ghnìomhachas aca agus tha tòrr de mhuinntir an à ite a' seachnadh nan rathaidean seo agus a' cleachdadh rathaidean beaga cumhang. Le eaconamaidh na dùthcha ann an droch staid chan eil cus coltas ann gum faighear cuidhteas dhe na cìsean.
Road tolls in Portugal
In Portugal there is much discontentment regarding tolls introduced for highways that were previously free. Some complain that it is unfair that they have to pay to use the roads when there aren’t suitable alternative routes. Companies are complaining that the tolls are having a negative effect on their business, and many Portuguese are avoiding these roads and opt to use smaller, narrower roads instead. With the Portuguese economy in disarray there is little chance that the tolls will be removed.
Bomaichean Na Gearmailt Nach Do Spreadh
Chaidh na grunn mhìltean bhomaichean a leagail air a’ Ghearmailt san Dà rna Cogadh. An-diugh ge-tà , tha buaidh nam bomaichean sin fhathast ga fhaireachdainn. A bharrachd air an fheadhainn a rinn milleadh air an dùthaich 70 bliadhna air ais, tha cuid ann nach do spreadh is a tha fhathast fon talamh far an do thuit iad. Cha do dh’obraich an uidheamachd nam broinn a bha còir toirt orra spreadhadh. A-nis, tha na bomaichean a’ grodadh ‘s a’ meirgeadh, is iad a’ fàs nas dualtach spreadhadh leòtha fhèin. Dha na daoine a tha an sàs ann a bhith gan dèanamh sà bhailte, tha an obair aca a’ sìor fhàs doirbh. Tha Darren Linc air a bhith sa Ghearmailt a’ rannsachadh na cùise.
Germany’s Unexploded Bombs
Many thousands of bombs were dropped on Germany in the Second World War. Today the legacy of those bombs is still being felt. In addition to the bombs which wreaked havoc on the country 70 years ago, there are many which did not explode. They remain underground, the force of their contact with the earth having buried them where they fell. Now, having rusted and decayed, the bombs are more likely to self-detonate. For those whose job it is to make them safe, work is becoming ever more difficult. Darren Laing has been to Germany to investigate.
