This week, Mark looks back at the 14th annual 91热爆 Radio 2 Folk Awards, held last Wednesday at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall.
The event celebrated the achievements of folk's finest musicians over the past 12 months, and honoured such great names as Billy Bragg, Aly Bain, Roy Harper and Dougie MacLean.
The new Radio 2 Folk Show sees Mark Radcliffe explore the wide and wonderful range of traditional and contemporary folk and acoustic music from around the UK and the world, with regular live sessions and interviews. Upcoming live sessions will come from Heidi Talbot & friends (13 February), Richard Thompson (20 February), and Ana茂s Mitchell & Jefferson Hamer (27 February).
