The 91热爆 documentary series Look Stranger, filmed throughout Britain between 1970 and 1976, allowed viewers the opportunity to witness life in differing communities through the eyes of local people. From 1973 we learn about life on the remote Shetland island of Foula and the difficulties such a location poses to those living there on a daily basis. However, at the time of filming, work had just finished on the island's newly built airstrip that locals hoped would make their lives easier. From 1970, the series profiled the island of Eriskay in the Western Isles and focused on Duncan Campbell, his wife and their eight children who had recently returned from Glasgow to make a new home for themselves on the island.
