The planned route for the NEXT stage of the 33 billion pounds high speed rail link's been published this morning - It'll cut an HOUR off a train journey from London to Manchester and supporters such as the Chancellor George Osborne, believe better links across the UK will mean bigger benefits for all of us:

But JOE RUKIN who campaigns against HS2 says its far too much money on a scheme that just won't be used by the vast majority of the country.

So what works for you?

Will the 33 billion pounds scheme pay off for you? Will it bring more jobs and better connections? And is it worth the the flattening of homes to make way for it?

Its going to take 19 years to complete this - are we all aboard the 2032 to Manchester?
