Celebrating 60 years of television in Scotland. This episode revisits the heyday of the Scottish historical drama, epics that sweep across the landscape and gallop through history, awash with swordfights, skullduggery, passion, dangerous horse stunts and dodgy wigs. From the books of Sir Walter Scott and Robert Louis Stevenson came Rob Roy, Weir of Hermiston, and Kidnapped, with The Borderers and Flight of the Heron continuing a romantic quest for Scotland's past and Scotch on the Rocks looking to the future. With interviews from some of our greatest actors including Michael Gambon, Brian Cox, Iain Glen and Billy Connolly.
