* Hundreds of flood warnings are in place in England, Wales and Scotland after heavy rain and flooding. More rain is expected to push river levels even higher.
* An NHS Trust has apologised to dozens of families after legal action exposed years of poor care. Worcestershire Acute Hospital Trust has paid more than four hundred thousand pounds worth of compensation after failings at Alexandra Hospital and Worcester Royal. One patient actually starved to death.
