Aiseag an t-Sròim fosgailte a-rithist. Thadhail Coinneach air an sgìre, is ghabh e turas air bòrd. Strome ferry sailed again. Coinneach visited and went on board.

Airson beagan mhìosan aig toiseach na bliadhna chaidh aiseag an t-Sròim fhosgladh on a bha an rathad eadar Loch Carran agus a' Phloc, an A890, dùinte air sgàths maoim-slèibhe. Chaidh Coinneach dhan a sgìre a choinneachadh ri muinntir an àit, is ghabh e turas air a' bhàta. Bhon uairsin tha Comhairle na Gaidhealtachd air a bhi a' sgrùdadh diofar phlannaichean dealbhachaidh feuch de is freagarraiche dhan sgìre. Tha e gu math buailteach gun tachair maom-slèibhe eile, is dh'fhaodadh gum bi slighe gu math fada aig daoine is sgoilearan faighinn bho àite gu àite a-rithist. Tha dùil aig a' chomhairle tilleadh chun a' choimhearsnachd le beachdan nas cìnntiche a thaobh slighe air adhart.

At the beginnning of this year the ferry service between North and South Strome was re-established as the A890 between Plockton and Loch Carron was closed due to a land-slide. Coinneach visited Plockton, Lochcarron and the surrounding areas and took a trip on the boat. Since then Highland Council have been investigating various planning options for the area as it's likely that more landslides may occur and the alternative routes incur long distances. Highland Council intend to offer more definite plans for a way forward in the Spring of 2012.
