Anthony faces a dilemma when Derek and Joey propose a game of poker on the night that he has romantic plans with Alice. Zainab is frustrated by AJ's attitude over his marriage.

Alice tells Anthony that tonight鈥檚 the night, but Anthony鈥檚 concerned about moving too quickly. Derek tells Anthony he鈥檚 punching above his weight. Joey persuades Anthony to challenge Derek to a poker game. Joey then lies, telling Derek Anthony bragged that he could easily beat him and could do with being taken down a peg or two. During the game, Anthony鈥檚 losing and Derek decides to up the stakes, convincing Anthony to wager the Emporium. Anthony loses everything and Joey tells him to leave Walford; he鈥檒l make sure Alice knows the truth about what鈥檚 happened. Meanwhile Alice is waiting for Anthony at the Vic, Joey tells her Anthony鈥檚 gone and it鈥檚 is all Derek鈥檚 fault. Alice rushes to the Emporium, but is too late, Anthony鈥檚 gone. Anthony heads into the tube station and leaves Walford.

Joey鈥檚 angry that Lucy only thinks about work. Lucy tells Ian that she can鈥檛 keep babysitting him, and she鈥檒l have to lease the fruit stall. Ian begs Lucy not to, but her mind is made up. Sharon tells Lucy she should reconsider; she can鈥檛 stay angry at Ian. Lucy sees Ian and Sharon doing a roaring trade at the stall; to Ian鈥檚 delight, she decides to keep the business.

Roxy鈥檚 complaining about living with Jack 鈥� she wants a more stable home. Kat goes to replace her vomit-covered shoes; Alfie hardly notices her leave. When Kat asks Fat boy if he can share a room with Shirley, Fats and Alfie come up with a plan to move Roxy in instead.

Zainab wants Masood to talk to AJ: she鈥檚 determined to know that truth about his marriage break-up. AJ refuses to talk to Masood but Zainab has called Aliyah and she is on her way. AJ reveals that Aliyah has been having an affair.
