A pilot scheme to let people find out if their partner has a history of domestic violence is being launched today.

It's being called "Clare's Law" after Clare Wood - who was murdered by an ex-boyfriend in Salford in 2009.

Campaign groups say the new scheme is a good start - but doesn't go far enough

So what should we do to help the 1 million victims of domestic abuse EVERY year?
