The House of Commons culture, media and sport select committee is seeking an overhaul of what they are calling 'outdated' gambling laws. Its MPs are arguing that gambling has become a "legitimate entertainment activity" in the UK. They want an end to the maximum of four fixed gaming machines per shop, to scrap the 拢100 limit on them and for decision making on casinos and gaming to be handed down to local authorities. But critics say it'll just lead to more opportunities for gamblers to lose money.
