For this Asian Network Reports Special Shabnam Mahmood is in London, Lahore and Karachi to find out what it really takes to become Pakistan's Next top Model .As the country's fashion industry booms so too does the demand for models but many feel they're simply not up to scratch. Leading fashion tout and model agency guru Frieha Altaf says there is a real shortage of "good top models " for her the lack of professionalism and girls simply being too short or overweight is an issue. Pakistan's super model Nadia Hussain goes further as far as she's concerned those now entering her profession are uneducated not groomed and standard are slipping; she believes this now creates opportunities for Asian girls from the UK to see if they can make it in Pakistan. To find out the calibre of the girls now hoping to become the next breed of top models Shabnam goes to auditions in Lahore . Both Zara and Meryam are there one refuses to show "too much flesh" while the other is prepared to be photographed in a bikini if that's the requirement of the shoot. And then there's Naya who dreams of becoming a top model but has the task of persuading her religious father and brother who refuse to allow her to model. Meanwhile in London 24 year of Sanober Husain at 5ft 7 has been rejected from most agencies in the UK as she's too short but could she make it in Pakistan; who will succeed in becoming Pakistan's Next Top Model ?
