Sir Terry Wogan welcomes the comedian and actress Meera Syal and has a stripped-back performance from singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti.

Sir Terry Wogan eases you into your Sunday morning with music and musings.

This week he catches up with the British comedian, writer, journalist, producer and actress Meera Syal. Best known in the UK for co-creating "Goodness Gracious Me" and her appearance in "The Kumars at No. 42", she was awarded an MBE in 1997 and has been voted one of the fifty funniest acts in British comedy.

He'll also welcome a performance from the Italian-English singer/songwriter Jack Savoretti. Born in London but raised in Switzerland, he didn't pick up a guitar until he was sixteen. Since then he has released two albums, with 2007's "Between The Minds" becoming Radio 2's Album Of The Week. His new album is set for release at the end of May.
