Andrea Mann, Comedy Editor of the Huffington Post UK, explains why she thinks funny women are finally starting to shine in a male dominated industry. Andrea, Janice, Alan Tyler and Susie Carr (who Huffington Post UK named the 17th funniest woman you should be following on Twitter), discuss funny females, and whether they're able to progress in the current comedy environment.

Passing Places is currently touring the smaller theatres all over Scotland. Starring and produced by Scott Kyle (who just filmed Ken Loach's film Angels' Share), who updated the 1998 Stephen Greenhorn version with a few modern elements to create a 54 scene road movie plot for the stage involving a 'borrowed' Lada and a surfboard. Scott and fellow actor Brian James tell us all about it and perform an extract.

After a successful student comedy festival last March, Patrick Turpin and Natasha Rosenthall have organised a great line up of talent for their new comedy festival in Leeds and remarkably the whole thing had been crowd funded. Patrick tells us all about it.
