The teenager who killed his mother with a hammer watched violent films and soap story lines and even wrote a TV script about the murder. Does violent TV make people more violent?

"DEVIL CHILD" is the Daily Mirror's headline... teenager Daniel Bartlam killed his mother with a hammer. The court heard he kept video clips on his computer of violent scenes from soaps and films. His favourites included a scene from Coronation Street ... where a man murders a woman with a hammer and then hides her body. Bartlam had even written a TV script about murdering his own mother.
