Bach for Good Friday

Katie Derham presents a performance of Bach's St John Passion, to mark Good Friday. Plus the world premiere of Ian Wilson's The Stars, the Seas, for the centenary of the Titanic.

Today's Afternoon on 3 marks Good Friday with a performance of Bach's St John Passion from the Philharmonic Concert Hall in Warsaw. This is followed by the world premiere performance by the Ulster Orchestra of Ian Wilson's The Stars, the Seas, written to commemorate the sinking of the Titanic in 1912.
