UN Secretary General Kofi Annan prepares to take on his new role as special envoy to Syria.

French journalist Edith Bouvier from Le Figaro newspaper in France is still seriously injured in Homs. Her boss tells us he they are desperately trying to get her out.

It was a case that dominated the news headlines around the world. In 1980, Lindy and Michael Chamberlain reported that their child was stolen by a wild dog in the Australian outback. They were accused of murder, and then acquitted in a legal process which took the best part of a decade. The case has now been re-opened - we find out why.
