Can computers treat depression?

One in five Scots suffers from depression at some time but now there's a new plan to offer patients counselling NOT face to face - but by the computer. Can computers beat the blues?

Today is the 10th anniversary of the Protection of Wild Mammals Act: the legislation to ban mounted hunting with hounds, effectively outlawing fox-hunting. But how much has actually changed over the past 10 years? Scotland's largest hunt, the Buccleuch, still meet around three times a week working within the law and offering a 'pest control service' to local landowners. The hounds still accompany them and, according to one of the huntsmen, three times as many foxes are now being killed than before the new law came into force, due to the introduction of guns.
So, what's changed and who is the biggest pest - the foxes or the hunters? Does more need to be done to ban this sport forever or is it a tradition that should be left alone.
