Desperate for a more balanced life, the Patons spent a week in Adelaide to find out if emigrating could offer the answer. But were they able to make the move for good?
The series in which British families are given the chance to sample what life would be like if they moved to the other side of the world.
For tree surgeon Alan Paton, life in the UK meant spending up to 90 hours a week away from his family with work. Desperate for a more balanced life, the Patons spent a week in Adelaide to find out if emigrating could offer the answer. But, after being faced with high costs and the painful reality of leaving loved ones behind, we catch up with them a year later to find out whether they were able to make the move for good.
