Roxy and Jack prepare for the court hearing to determine who gains custody over Amy. Roxy is disheartened when she fails to provide her solicitor, Jimmy, with any dirt on the Brannings, frustrated that his only advice is to wear something illegal as the judge is a pervert. A worried Jack receives reassurance from Derek. Returning from the courts Roxy is devastated to lose custody as the Branning’s celebrate their win in the Vic. Phil informs Jack that Amy is a Mitchell and only on loan, they’ll get her back.
Masood and Zainab receive their divorce papers, the reality of the situation hitting them both hard. Following advice from Jane, Masood goes to see Zainab, the pair lost for words as they reflect over 30 years of marriage. Masood stresses he doesn’t want to fall out over Kamil but while Zainab is insistent they are just names on a letter it is clear as they bid each other an emotional farewell that she doubts her decision. Masood takes the first step in making a fresh start by making dinner plans with Jane.
Phil continues to receive texts and letters from the stalker. Phil is in for shock when one message declares they know he killed Kevin. Phil storms round to Jack’s, adamant he is behind it all. Desperate to put the whole thing to bed, Jack goes to find the secret file he kept on Phil but discovers it’s missing. Phil is left reeling when he asks what the file contained, Jack replying ‘everything.’
Billy asks Jimmy for help dealing with the social. Denise and Heather find Derek and Rainie in a compromising position. Yusef uses Amira to get Syed to come to Pakistan, leading Amira to suggest to Syed they start up a business selling Olympic souvenirs.
