Cathy's guest is a former Trappist monk turned musician and activist Paul Baker Hernandez, plus she hears from author Richard Reddie about Black History Month.

Cathy's first hour guest this week is a former Trappist monk turned musician and activist, Paul Baker Hernandez, who will be talking about the music and the issues that inspire him, as well as his adopted home town of Managua, Nicaragua.
We'll also hear from author Richard Reddie about Black History Month and his new book on the life of Martin Luther King Jr - and the extent to which King's influence is still being felt around the world.
Listener Margaret Gillies Brown talks to Anna Magnusson about her time as a young wife in Alberta, Canada in the late 1950s, and her subsequent return to Scotland.
And as a new Spiritualist church opens in Edinburgh, Cathy finds out the history of Spiritualism. Just how prevalent is it in Scotland today? And what makes us so interested in the most famous aspect of Spiritualism: hearing from spirits who have 'passed on'? All this and the usual mix of great music, don't miss it.
