Carol鈥檚 not happy that Mandy鈥檚 staying at Pat鈥檚. Alfie pops in to check on Ian and then can鈥檛 get away. He and Ian start talking about their respective women and their issues. By the time Pat arrives to talk to Ian on Mandy鈥檚 behalf, Ian鈥檚 nearly in tears and she makes a hasty retreat. Pat tells Mandy Ian鈥檚 a good man, he just wants to be loved. Pat鈥檚 annoyed when Carol tells Mandy she has to leave. Mandy takes Ian flowers, they talk and Ian asks if they can try again. To Mandy鈥檚 surprise, he proposes.

Tyler ignores Whitney, upsetting her. Pat tells her she鈥檚 been where Whitney is now, but then she found Roy. Pat gives her the courage to go and find Tyler in the Vic. Whitney overhears Tyler telling Fatboy she needs a shrink not a boyfriend. Whitney walks out, insisting she doesn鈥檛 give a damn what Tyler thinks. Fatboy follows and kisses her.

Tanya鈥檚 struggling with her treatment; Lauren tries to help, sorting out Oscar and offering to do the shopping. At Tanya鈥檚 request, Lauren persuades Roxy to cover in the salon and ends up lumbered with Amy. When Tanya arrives home, she realises Lauren鈥檚 had to miss a class. Tanya offers to look after Oscar while Lauren goes to lunch with Fatboy, but then falls asleep on Lauren鈥檚 shoulder, trapping her.
Kat and Shenice laugh at the online footage of Mandy smashing up Ian鈥檚 car. Kat ignores a friend request from Mark Garland. Kat鈥檚 angry when Alfie disappears just as they鈥檙e supposed to be leaving, but softens when she learns he鈥檚 been looking after Ian. They set off on holiday.
Norman answers a call from Simon. When Pat calls him back she鈥檚 concerned by what she hears.
