Highlights this week have us travelling around the world; Hollywood first with Kirsten Dunst talking to Lauren Laverne about her new movie Melancholia, and then Holly Johnson from Frankie Goes To Hollywood talking to Mark Radcliffe & Stuart Maconie. We head over to lovely Manchester, the home of Johnny Marr, who popped into see Radcliffe and Maconie talking Northern Soul and of course The Smiths. Also Steve Lamacq's Favourite New Band is the artist Kayla La Grange whose family originates from South Africa via the Huguenots in France, Chris Hawkins catches up with "the mad scientist behind techno pop" and the man behind 'You Blinded Me With Science' Thomas Dolby who spent a lot of time in Silicone Valley. Then we move to the English Riviera to talk to Joe Mount from Metronomy joining Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie. Then back over to the States as Steve Lamacq is joined by now LA based Zola Jesus.
