Germany is Europe's economic engine and the largest contributor to the Eurozone bailout fund. It has committed itself to keeping Greece inside the single currency. But the doubters grow more numerous by the day. Peter Altmaier is the parliamentary leader for Germany's ruling CDU/CSU party. It's his job to get parliament to vote for the hard choices Chancellor Merkel thinks are necessary.
