A man who was stabbed in the leg and stomach after tackling a gang of young people who were harrassing a pensioner and a pregnant woman on the bus says he doesn't regret it.

A man who was stabbed in the stomach and leg after standing up to a gang on a bus in east London says he would do it again. 32 year old Tim Smits who moved to London from Australia 18 months ago, went to the aid of two women on a bus last Wednesday morning, one was pregnant and the other a pensioner. He told us it hasn't changed his view of London but it is a depressingly familiar story.

Also we take an in depth look at the Family Intervention Programme - its aim is to reduce anti-social behaviour caused by problem families. We hear from a Mum involved in the programme and the people behind it.

And more on the rescue of the British couple stuck in a ravine in the Amazon...
