Coverage of the 159th British Open Brass Band Championships continues with highlights from the Gala Concert, one of the most popular events in the banding calendar, which featured three of the most famous bands in the world: Black Dyke, Grimethorpe and The Cory Band.
Frank Renton presents highlights of the concert held in Birmingham's Symphony Hall and talks to Lewis Musson, recipient of the Radio 2 Young Brass Soloist Awards 2011 who, as part of his Award, is playing with the Black Dyke Band conductor Nicholas Childs.
