What effect will the latest events in Libya have on the price of oil? After the turbulence of last week, what can we expect from markets aroung the globe?

Two of Colonel Gadaffi's sons have been captured and fighters have been celebrating in Green Square - the heart of Libya's capital Tripoli. Libya has Africa's largest oil reserves and the outbreak of unrest sent the price up sharply six months ago, what effect will these latest events have?

Last week saw more turbulence on financial markets around the globe, what can we expect from this week?

The German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, has ruled out creating so-called eurobonds to solve the eurozone debt crisis.

Finally, the members of Yorkshire and Norwich & Peterborough Building Societies are voting on whether to merge.
