Madonna is caught in the crossfire as Jimmy and Scarlett's divorce becomes increasingly bitter. Fraser tries to use Lenny's failed attempts to bond with Amber to his advantage.

Scarlett isn't happy when Jimmy is late picking up Madonna for his pre-arranged visit. Jimmy wants to take Madonna to the cinema but Scarlett asks if Jimmy has seen a divorce lawyer yet - he won't get to see Madonna until he's done so. Throwing Jimmy out, Scarlett opens her post and finds a final demand for the electricity, but before she has chance to think about it Jimmy returns hammering on the door. Scarlett ignores him and eventually Jimmy lets himself in with the spare keys. He's bought Scarlett flowers to say sorry, and some of Madonna's favourite biscuits. Scarlett flies off the handle at Jimmy and Big Bob is left to comfort an upset Madonna. But Scarlett is forced to eat some humble pie when she needs Jimmy to babysit. She's also forced to admit she needs help with the bills. Jimmy takes the opportunity to negotiate some more time with his daughter, and to hold off the divorce proceedings for two weeks, Scarlett reluctantly agrees. When the opportunity of a lucrative airport run comes up in the cab office Jimmy takes it, he can be back before he needs to collect Madonna, and the money will help pay the bill. However, disaster strikes and Jimmy gets a flat tyre making him late again. Scarlett is furious and believes that Jimmy has done it on purpose to assert his authority. She refuses to let him have his daughter and Jimmy resorts to trying to kick the front door down, only stopping when Scarlett tells him that Madonna is scared.

Later, when Jimmy sees that Christina has been charged with looking after Madonna, he gets an idea. He tells Christina that there was a mix up and she happily lets Jimmy take Madonna. Jimmy leaves a voicemail for Scarlett and heads off. On her break Scarlett checks in with Christina and is furious to discover Jimmy took Madonna without permission. She finds his voicemail but deletes it and calls the police instead. Although the police see the situation as a domestic misunderstanding, Jimmy is mad that Scarlett could do such a thing. He returns to the cab office in bits and Lenny provides an unlikely shoulder to cry on. Meanwhile, Big Bob makes Scarlett see sense - this is only hurting Madonna. She decides to try and build bridges and leaves Madonna with Jimmy for a few hours, but Jimmy is past caring and decides to leave Sheildinch with his daughter. When Lenny realises Jimmy's plan he tries to reason with him. Back at the Mullen's Raymond turns up to see Scarlett, worried that Jimmy might have done something stupid, but he's relieved when Jimmy returns with Madonna. He's realised that he needs to move on for the sake of his daughter, and agrees to meet with a lawyer about the divorce.

Lenny is also trying to make an effort to bond with Amber but Fraser continually gets in the way. Lenny confronts Fraser and when Fraser starts to threaten Lenny's relationship with Amber, Lenny retaliates by threatening to take back the cash he gave Fraser. A desperate Fraser heads to Hola and lies to Amber about her father's behaviour. Amber is annoyed that her dad is up to his old tricks and tells Lenny that she doesn't want anything from him. Lenny is desperate to make amends with Amber and offers a business related olive branch to Fraser. Fraser realises that he can make some money out of the arrangement by buying cheaper, stolen, cars. Lenny's contact at the garage presumes he's buying them on behalf of Lenny and agrees a deal leaving Fraser to secretly pocket the leftover 6000 pounds.

Elsewhere a handsome stranger, Sandy, arrives in Shieldinch. Eileen is immediately smitten but minxy Zinnie tries to scupper their relationship before it has time to blossom. Eileen and Raymond eventually twig that Zinnie's been up to no good and thankfully Sandy returns for that all important date, but why has he got a photo of Annie in his pocket?
