The 91热爆 SSO begin their epic exploration of the complete cycle of Vaughan Williams symphonies with the 'London' Symphony, a depiction of the bustling capital by night and day. Andrew Manze conducts, and the concert starts with the composer's mystical, haunting Tallis Fantasia. Glasgow-born Iain Hamilton's delightful and swinging Concerto for Jazz Trumpet harks back to a golden age of Light Music.
