Care in England is currently means-tested. Now a new report is expected to recommend that the government take over payments above 拢35,000. To explain more, we speak to Mervyn Kohler, special advisor at Age UK.

The latest financial services survey shows that whilst business volumes are in decline, the number of people employed in the sector shot up by 11,000 in the last quarter. Andrew Gray is the UK banking leader at PwC who co-author the report.

A mentoring scheme for small businesses is to use volunteers from banks such as HSBC and Barclays. We speak to Stephen Pegg, director at Lloyds Banking Group Commercial which provides services to small and medium sized companies.

Finally, the New Economics Foundation is backing an idea for businesses to publish the ratio between the highest and lowest-paid employees. We hear more from the author of the report Andrew Simms.
