Women's comedy... rock star aspirations ... and all set to a witty soundtrack... Special guest presenter, comedian and writer Bruce Morton's got a lively gig on this week's Comedy Caf茅 as he gets under the skin of issues close to comedians hearts.

Wry humour, life-affirming lyrics - and all in a second language! Italian born musician and songwriter, Roberto Cassani's humorous songs are pitch perfect in their razor sharp observations of daily life. Roberto performs the perfect soundtrack of witty songs to wind down to ahead of a well-deserved weekend.

Following the furore of Funny Women competitions controversial pay-to-play scheme, comedian Jane Hill helped set up the 'Funny's Funny Female Comedian of the Year' award. But do we still need separate competitions for female comedians? Bruce is joined by Jane and comedian Susan Calman to find out whether women in comedy are still marginalised or if our perspective has really moved on.

Comedian Raymond Mearns has performed warm-up for singer Pete Doherty, but given the chance would he rather swap the gags for a guitar and rock out alongside the former Libertines and Babyshambles frontman?
