A convicted child rapist tells us sex offenders should live in hostels when released from prison after a community successfully prevented the opening of one in their area.

What should happen to sex offenders when they're released from prison and still regarded as a danger to the public?

A 5 live listener has contacted the programme to say a drug rehab centre in his village is being turned into a facility to deal with ex offenders - including sex offenders. Initially convicted paedophiles were to be housed in the village of Edenfield in Lancashire too - however local protests have persuaded the police, council and probation services to change their mind - but it will still house sex offenders.

"Paul" was sentenced to ten years for raping a young girl who was under thirteen. He served just under seven years of his sentence and was released into a hostel for sex offenders. Paul isn't his real name and we've disguised his voice in order to protect his victim. He explains at the start of hour two how important going into such a hostel was and how it stopped him reoffending.

Plus in the Monday Music Review, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and reviews of music from Paul Simon, Take That and a collaboration between Calvin Harris and Kelis.
