The brother of a murder victim tells Victoria he's waited decades to thank an informer for securing the killer's conviction.

'Harry' - not his real name - tried to give the police information anonymously, but ended up appearing in open court, and now lives in fear of retribution.

Harry initially told Victoria he wished he'd never come forward - but the murder victim's brother, who heard Harry on the radio, says he's waited decades to thank him for providing 'crucial' evidence.

Talking to him for the first time, he says he'd give Harry a 'great big hug', because what he did 'saved the lives of other people', and he will never be forgotten.
