Carol looks after Amy while Roxy goes to see Ronnie and her new solicitor. Carol persuades Jack to spend the day with them. Max arrives at the flat, wanting to talk to Jack about Rainie. Jack reminds Max and Carol they鈥檝e both gone off the rails in the past. Jack and Max argue heatedly. Carol takes Amy upstairs and when she returns Jack turns on her. Max and Jack鈥檚 argument escalates until Jack starts punching Max repeatedly whilst Carol tries to drag him away.

Tanya and Greg watch as Jack throws Rainie out of his flat. All day, Tanya boasts about how perfect her honeymoon was, especially when Max is within earshot. Tanya tells Max about Jack and Rainie. When he brings up what happened on her wedding day, Tanya insists there鈥檚 nothing between them, she loves Greg. Later, Greg suggests a quiet night in, but Tanya wants to go to the Vic. Greg discovers Tanya鈥檚 told Rainie she can stay with them.

Marta and Dot get off to a bad start, Marta鈥檚 late and Dot criticises everything she does. Over lunch Dot tells Edward she鈥檚 had an email from his old friend Betty. Marta brings flowers for Dot, realising she鈥檚 missing Jim. Dot discovers Marta鈥檚 working nights as well as days. When Marta explains her husband drinks and keeps losing his job, Dot鈥檚 kind, she agrees to keep her on and sends her upstairs for a nap.

Kim tells Masood that Denise and Yusef don鈥檛 sleep together. Zainab and Denise bicker in the Minute Mart. Zainab tells Masood that Denise isn鈥檛 right for Yusef. Masood鈥檚 annoyed when Zainab defends Yusef, after he takes an interest in the Argee Bhajee building work.

Christian and Alfie鈥檚 attempt to make Ian and Jane sit down and talk calmly fails miserably.
