A British woman has been murdered in a violent attack in the Spanish island of Tenerife. She was beheaded in a supermarket. It happened in the tourist resort of Los Cristianos, in front of a number of shoppers.

The Pakistani Taliban says two of its suicide bombers killed at least 80 people and injured more than a hundred others in an attack on a paramilitary academy in north western Pakistan.
