Steve Perryman, John Wark and Masters winner Steve Davis look back at sport in 1981. Plus, Libya: The Prime Minister's spokeswoman says we should prepare for the long haul.

Gabby adds a sporting flavour to 5 live's 1981 day, with the 'retro sports team'.

Guests include Steve Perryman from Tottenham Hotspur's FA Cup winning team, Scottish footballer John Wark who won the UEFA Cup with Ipswich Town and was player of the season in 1981, and Steve Davis who three decades ago won his first snooker Masters title.

Also on the sports team, Bob Willis, whose bowling figures of 8 for 43 helped secure that famous Ashes victory at Headingley and John Goodbody, former sports news correspondent of The Times.

In the second hour, the latest on the Libyan conflict, as the Prime Minister's spokeswoman says we should prepare for the long haul.
