Lambing Live returns with a whole new set of challenges. In spring 2010, Kate Humble and Adam Henson tested their shepherding skills on a lowland farm in Wales. In 2011 they head for the hills in Cumbria to capture the amazing drama of lambing as it unfolds.

They meet the new family of farmers, the Marstons, and the first lambs. Over the previous six months, Kate learned that the conditions are harsher and the stakes are higher in the remote and often unforgiving world of hill farming. Adam travelled the UK to explore the secret life of sheep, discovering that there's more to the perfect Swaledale than meets the eye.
