Eight years ago a 12 year old died in a hit and run. Victoria finds out why 'human rights' may prevent the man responsible being deported to Iraq.

Eight years ago a 12 year old girl died after a hit and run accident in Blackburn.

The man who was driving the car was a 25 year old asylum seeker from Iraq who was banned from driving. Aso Mohammed Ibrahim was jailed for four months, but not deported to Iraq. He argued that deportation would breach his human rights, as he says he is married to an English woman and has two children.

The girl's father, Paul Houston, explains why he wants to appeal against the decision not to deport him, as the case returns to the High Court.

Also on the programme, should we bail Portugal out? We speak to two Portuguese people in Porto.
