Libya air strikes

Should we take action against Colonel Gaddafi? Nicky Campbell takes your calls as UK forces are among those preparing to launch air strikes to enforce a No Fly Zone.

Should we take action against Colonel Gaddafi? Nicky Campbell takes your calls.

UK forces are among those preparing to launch air strikes to enforce a No Fly Zone - after Thursday night's UN resolution.

Colonel Gaddafi says "If the world gets crazy with us, we will get crazy too".

Is it right that we step in to defend the lives of people in rebel-held cities like Benghazi? Or should we stay out of another country's civil war?

Osama in Birmingham says that despite his belief that Colonel Gaddafi is a brutal dictator, "western intervention is not the right solution".

But Libyan doctor Abdul at St Mary's Hospital says Gaddafi is bombing hospitals. "He has no scruples - we're right to intervene.".
