Graham Bell and Ed Leigh present highlights of the men's and women's downhill from the 2011 World Ski Championships taking place in the German mountain resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Can John Kucera defend his crown? The Canadian was the surprise winner at the 2009 World Championships in Val d'Isere, France. Kucera will face tough opposition from Swiss skiing sensation Carlo Janka who is the current World Cup downhill champion.
In the women's speed event, Lindsey Vonn will start as the hot favourite. The American is the reigning Olympic and World Cup downhill champion and has looked untouchable this season.
