Is the Bank of England poised to start raising interest rates again? If so, when, and by how much? And the latest official employment figures are released later.

Are interest rates about to rise because of soaring inflation? We're joined by Brian Hilliard, UK chief economist at Soci茅t茅 G茅n茅rale, and Gerard Lyons, chief economist at Standard Chartered, to look at the fallout from Tuesday's inflation numbers, and look ahead to the Bank of England quarterly inflation report.

The latest official employment figures are due out, with many experts expecting the jobless total to continue to climb over the next few months. Professor John Philpott, chief economic adviser at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, shares his thoughts on what we can expect from the numbers.

And the government and the renewable energy industry are to announce a new scheme to pay local communities that agree to allow wind-farms on their land. We hear from Charles Anglin, a director at Renewable UK, about what exactly is happening.
