Legendary music producers Paul Epworth & Steve Levine

Nemone chats to music producers Steve Levine and Paul Epworth, whose works include Adele, Culture Club, and The Beach Boys. Plus there's a handpicked playlist from Field Music.

Lead by core members, brothers Peter and David Brewis, and aided and abetted by Kevin Dosdale and Ian Black, Sunderland's Field Music released one of the albums of 2010 the double album Field Music Measure. The band have picked some of their favourite tracks including David Bowie, Thomas White, The Futurheads, Robert Fripp and Duke Ellington.
Nemone talks to award winning music producers Steve Levine & Paul Epworth ahead of Music Producers Awards. Steve started as a trainee tape-op at CBS studios in 1975, Steve progressed to in house engineer and worked with many now classic new wave & punk acts The Clash, The Jags, The Vibrators, XTC as well as many of CBS records pop acts, including Sailor. Beach Boy, Bruce Johnson was to play an important part in Steve's early career, culminating with Steve producing an album for the Beach Boys several years later. Steve produced all of Culture Club始s classic hits and the bands始 three multi-platinum albums.
Paul Epworth is an award-winning British music producer, musician and songwriter. His production credits include Adele, Cee-Lo Green, Florence and the Machine, Plan B, Friendly Fires, Bloc Party, Primal Scream, The Rapture, Jack Pe脙ate, Kate Nash and Max脙mo Park.
