News and views from the business world with Andy Verity and Jeremy Naylor. Economic growth in UK and many overseas markets in 2010 was, mostly, stronger than expected, while equity markets hit some of their highest levels since the worst days of the 2008 financial crisis. Soaring fuel costs, blizzards and Icelandic volcanoes made 2010 a year to try and forget for the travel industry - is there likely to be a change in fortunes over the next 12 months? We ask Christian Cull, spokesperson for TUI, the company that owns Thompson and First Choice, about the changing trends in the UK holiday market.

China's love affair with European brands is showing no sign of ending - luxury goods makers like YSL and Louis Vuitton now look to China for revenue and growth as the newly wealthy middle class put its status on display. Stephen Phillips is the Chief Executive of the China-British Business Council and explains what he thinks British companies need to do in 2011 to crack the elusive Chinese market.

Finally we're joined by Kevin Kallaugher, The Economist's cartoonist, who has been satirising economic ups and downs for years. We ask him about his favourite cartoon of the past few years.
