A survey by this programme finds only two Lib Dem MPs who'll vote for tuition fee rises. And the family of strangled Essex mum Maria Stubbings call for a change in the law.

A survey of all 57 Liberal Democrat MPs by Victoria Derbyshire's team shows that just two, so far, say they're going to vote with the coalition government for a rise in tuition fees.

13 MPs have told us they will definitely join Labour in the no lobby and vote against the rise. John Hemming, who's undecided, explains at the start of the programme why he is still weighing things up.

Victoria interviews the brother and daughter of a woman murdered in Essex. Maria Stubbings was strangled in Chelmsford in 2008 by her former partner, who had spent 15 years in jail in Germany for killing another woman.

Manuel Fernandez and Celia Peachey join Victoria, and the IPCC tell us they're calling for a change in the law to allow more control over those who have killed abroad.

And pupils and teachers protesting changes in school sports funding have handed a petition in to Downing Street.

We hear from headteachers, a sixth form pupil and former athlete Tessa Sanderson on what they believe the new scheme will mean.
