Despite spending 拢15m, England's 2018 World Cup bid earned just two votes. Was it a stitch-up? Nicky Campbell takes your calls.

Despite spending 拢15m and sending Prince William, David Cameron and David Beckham to Zurich, England's 2018 World Cup bid earned just two votes.

England went out at the first round, with Russia beating the Spain/Portugal and Holland/Belgium bids in round two.

What went wrong? Was it a stitch up?

Nicky Campbell is joined for a passionate debate by by Neil Custis of The Sun who describes Fifa's decision to award the World Cup to Russia as an "outrageous scandal", while The Daily Mirror's Oliver Holt says the voting process "stinks".

But some callers and texters disagree, saying "We should stop being so inward looking, FIFA wants to break new boundaries and spread its market. We didn't lose, Russia won!".
